Hal Rood joined us as Partner and Executive Vice President in 2006 after 10 years at Broadcast Architecture, one of the research divisions of what is now iHeartMedia. Hal has provided strategic counsel to media outlets around the world from San Francisco to Seattle and Berlin to Rio de Janeiro. He\u2019s competitive by nature and nothing fuels him more than seeing a client win big.<\/p>\n

After years as a radio station program director, Hal spent the early 1990s with
Voice Of America Europe, which provided startup assistance to private radio stations in the emerging markets of Central and Eastern Europe.<\/p>\n

A second-generation radio broadcaster, Hal got into the business at 15 years old broadcasting football games. While attending Syracuse University, he programmed 100-watt WJPZ to the highest market share of any college station in the USA (and the second-biggest public station in the country).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
